Ah, but reality suggest that we, throughout out life are actually pursuing happiness which appears to be an unobtainable goal. Thomas Jefferson understood that when he penned the Declaration and stated β€œlife, liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness. When someone is so rich that they can buy half the planet, why would they get mixed up in child sex rings? Or other obvious to the onlookers, depraved behavior? How many homes can you buy on your pursuit? How many wives can you have?

You quote the talentless affirmative-action hag Maya Angelou on Juneteenth. Didn't know you were so woke.

LOL! I'm sorry, the meme may be based on her quote, but I had NO IDEA who she was and am far from the "woke' you are referring to. And the quote is quite accurate. Even idiots say things correctly on occasion!

" Even idiots say things correctly on occasion!"

To be sure (I knew aren't woke-- just yanking your chain a little to celebrate Juneteenth, which I despise.)

Thoughts on the Katherine Henson quote.

Background: This planet is run on fear, not love. To live in love is to do unto others as you would have them do unto you ( To put it into the Christian vernacular ).

So, the word, "soft" implies to a Planet Normal ( fear ) person a weakness, being vulnerable. A condition to exploit if one is to remain "successful" in this reality.

Thus, yes, in such an environment to be "soft" takes courage because doing so will invite conflict, struggle, or worse. For example, in the TV Series, " Suits " the lead actor/attorney has a reputation for being hard, a winner, to be feared as an opponent. He never loses, is his mantra. But, he actually is soft, except he keeps it private, is secretive about it. Otherwise, he's toast........ In fact, the whole series, all 9 years of it, involves the battle between love and fear. Which is why I feel that it was so popular. It spoke to people. It didn't hurt that the writing was phenomenal....LOL.

Your perspective is a valid one, but in my mind, since my wife knows the "soft" heart side of me, her protector, whom she has seen cry when he saw a picture of an aborted baby on the hand of the abortionist, and since she knows who I am sees that as courage. Men as a whole, are expected to be "tough" and not soft. I may be soft that way but believe you me, I am the guy who my Kenpo instructor would say to the class on occasion..."Anyone want a black belt tonight? All you have to do is beat Mr. Reynolds ass." Good luck with that!

....".expected "...... because we're living in a fear based reality. Being "tough" is just speaking the language of fear, the language of our consensus reality....... That's how one survives in this fantasy. LOL........One can put on a Normal suit, but that doesn't make one a Normal. When we enter into this World / Planet, we put on our Earth suit so we can survive, just as an astronaut puts on a space suit so he/she can survive in that reality............
