I think this election will be decided by the Supreme Court. Too many voting problems and issues already hurting the legal voting process. They are so brazen that this time it cannot be explained away.

If the Court cannot or will not intercede on behalf of justice and the rule of law all is lost and it may become a free for all, and not the good kind.

CL, I understand your frustration and feeling of powerlessness! On a related note, I have a dear friend who lives in the Los Angeles area. She works at a casino and is very chatty with the clientele normally, but even more so with the upcoming election because she is very emotionally invested in it. She told me that she, too, heard talk of these illegal immigrants voting for Democrats due to them receiving money and perks from the current administration. So she gets friendly with the Latinos at the casino and asks them about their involvement in the election. She said that "unequivocally" none of them are interested in voting. Despite some of them (not all) receiving some kind of "entry benefit," they simply don't want to be bothered with going through the steps to register, then deciding, and thus they will not vote. They can't get mail-in ballots without going through a big process ('m speaking about California in this instance, although I imagine that most states have some kind of multi-step process). They admit that going to the polls is a major hassle for them and their voting-age family members and friends.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't see the "illegal immigrant" factor as anything more than divisive talk from the psychopathic tyrants and their mockingbird media clowns.

Here is some information from Politifact.com:

"Only U.S. citizens can vote in federal elections; Congress banned noncitizen voting in 1996. Noncitizens rarely cast ballots. Those who do face stiff penalties including deportation.

...

All people who register to vote in California must sign a notice, under penalty of perjury, that states they are U.S. citizens, a California secretary of state spokesperson said. Voter registrations are then verified with the Department of Motor Vehicles’ driver's license databases and Social Security Administration information. Applicants whose information is not verified must show their IDs at the polls the first time they vote.

Providing false voter information is a felony punishable by up to three years in prison. Voter fraud does occur in California elections, but is rare. For example, there were eight documented cases of voter fraud in California in the 2020 election, according to data from The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank.

The majority of California voters do not vote in person. Eighty-nine percent of voters in the 2024 presidential primary election voted by mail and federal law mandates that all first-time voters must show ID when requesting mail ballots."

SIde Note: If there were 8 instances of voter fraud in California in 2020, with an estimated 17 million votes cast, that represents 0.00000047. Sure, we can assume that elections are bullshit because winners are pre-selected, but then that negates in the first place any reason to be concerned about voter fraud from illegal immigrants.

I don't know if this helps assuage your fears, but that is my intention!
