When watching this I was reminded of a dusty book sitting in my book case that I had read back in the 1990’s. My waking up to much of what I write about took place back in the 1980’s and 90’s. This was one of those books.

Victor Ostrovsky was born in Canada of an Israeli mother and a Canadian Jewish father, but was raised in Israel. He became, at age 18, the youngest officer in the Israeli military. A weapons-testing expert, he was recruited by the Mossad and completed their extensive training program, becoming a katsa, or case officer, only to grow disillusioned with the organiztions’s aims and operations.
