First and foremost we are enslaved to evil and sin. Our choice since we refused to serve God our Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer and turned our backs on Him to follow our own way, which leads to ever increasing darkness and death.
People prefer darkness and refuse to come to the light because their deeds are evil. The only way out of this is to repent and turn from our wicked ways and back to The Holy One, now, while there is still a minute before the clock strikes midnight.......
The comment I wrote stated it all. The selfish prideful self centered attitude of sin is something we are entrapped in unless we are freed from it through the Power of God and His plan of Salvation.
Sin can manifest in innumerable ways. Just look around at Babylon America and what it is devolving into. God gives people over into the desires of their heart to reap the consequences thereof. For good or evil. If people desire True discernment, He gives them that. If some persist in desiring evil He gives them over to darkness
Sin according to the bible is transgression of the law. I guess what I was wondering is what "law" are we transgressing? I run into folks from so many different denominations with different understandings that it becomes redundant. Why is that? Who determines which interpretation is the right one? What I see is psychopathic control freak parasites as the basis of our problem. Average normal people can't see through it.
