This is excellent and actually gives me hope rather than make me recoil in horror. While I am not wealthy by any means, there was a time when I earned an inflated salary and worked with people who were extremely wealthy. My experience coincides greatly with what I read here, both for myself and in my observations among those for and with whom I worked.

The hope I see is that even those conditioned by their environment against their own natural inclinations can be recovered, and according to one of the studies listed here, with not an incredible amount of difficulty.

So true! There are many more that participate in the rich pageant. They max out credit cards to live a life way beyond their means because they are hoping to impress others, which really could not care less. I think tell-lie-vision causes that syndrome.
