good luck in waking up we the people, they are content with coming home from work grabbing a cold one, watching monday night football, going out to the lake on the weekend, etc., etc., etc., etc., they are to content, lazy, satisfied with there sad lives, good luck waking them up, i have tried to no avail
I’m convinced the elites know this and it’s also why we don’t see a bigger crackdown on illegal drugs and pornography; “bread and circuses” sums up modern America quite nicely.
I'm not so sure that I want to see more victimless activity criminalized. Unless porn is utilizing underaged people or has some sort of torture involved, where is the victim? I can suggest you don't watch it, but I shouldn't be able to force you at gun point not to. Same with drugs. Unless there is a victim involved which seems to be the case with fentanyl, why do we need more armed enforcers running amuck among the populace?
Standing up for what is right isn't comfortable. Using reason, logic and common sense isn't comfortable. Standing up to peer pressure isn't comfortable. Standing your ground against "authority" isn't comfortable.
In an ideal world, getting rid of all politicians, restoring state rights, starting a new currency, taking over all the utilities and all means of control, especially the media and communication, would be a good start. Logistically, it's a globalist network that still keeps production and distribution alive. It would take at least two months to recover from that shock and, in the meanwhile, the lack of power and potable water would probably kill more than famine...
Anyway, who could control such a global operation even at the national level? The globalists have enormous technological reserves, and nobody can counter DEWs, lasers, microwaves through the powerlines, drone swarms, robotic armies, and well-equipped foreign mercenaries with hunting guns. The hour is late as it is...
It's too bad that this wasn't nipped in the bud a long long time ago. The disease has grown to be unmanageable at this point. Except by the globalists.
I regret the overthrow of the Articles of Confederation. Brought to Philadelphia under the ruse of amending the Articles, the men who organized the Constitutional Convention had a whole 'nuther idea: We want a new, national government. They got it -- and its defining document, the U.S. Constitution.
And so, the "anti-Federalists" were born -- the true heroes of inalienable rights, the Declaration of Independence, and distrust of "vain and aspiring men." These "anti-Federalists" (even back then that "anti" epithet was alive and well) include my hero Patrick Henry and my other favorite Sam Adams. Others include George Mason, Edmund Randolph, Richard Henry Lee, Mercy Otis Warren, John Dickinson. And many more.
What we've got today is 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒍𝒚 what those named above warned about -- in speeches and in their writing. Should come as no surprise that the nations organized under the Articles became vassal states in waiting under the Constitution and the giant all-powerful crime syndicate we have today.
Actually from my research the main reason was the messed up monetary system at the time that they convened the convention. It was for economic reason supposedly. As it stands it was being violated before the ink dried by George Washington himself when he had farmers murdered that rebelled against the whiskey tax that he and his cronies felt they could charge. I don’t understand why, from day one USE fees weren’t instituted. Whiskey, if there was a real reason to do so could have a fee attached at the point of disposal. You drink it, you pay a use fee for it. The issue would what is the use fee for? That is where a dilemma would begin. I can understand a use fee for the roads paid for by those who utilize them. Or a use fee for the schools system paid for those that use it. I shouldn’t have to pay for my neighbors idiot offspring so that they can remain idiots. Or worse yet, become more of an idiot with the education that they don’t receive. We homeschooled and yet had to pay for that nonsense OR ELSE feel the wrath of the state as they send armed agents to kick you out of “your” home for not paying the extortion that they call property taxes every year.
I think the Articles did present good reasons for amending them. One involves the money system, as you point out. The shortcomings, revealed after being in play for a few years, warranted a review and "re-jiggering." This could have been done while leaving the Articles' advantages, such as a decentralized system of independent countries (States) in place.
The delegates to Philadelphia met under the ruse of doing just that. Just amending, fellas. Nothing to worry about. One of the biggest bugaboos was the existing system of taxation.
Those who "worried" about the proposed central government became known as the "anti-Federalists." Some of the "anti-federalists" attended the 1787 Convention, while others like Sam Adams did not. Rhode Island didn't bother sending delegates. Virginia sent seven. Four out of the seven voted against the new government. Of the three that voted in favor we have George Washington.
We know that under the Articles, a George Washington as President would have lacked ANY of the alleged authority he exercised to carry out the attack against the whiskey rebellion. It's unlikely it would have happened in the first place; under the Articles, the central government (such as it was) lacked the authority to even levy direct taxes.
The "banging on" of the "anti-Federalists" over the new government's centralized power insisted on a Bill of Rights. James Madison -- who ended up writing it -- initially opposed it. George Mason demanded it. A vote to add was held just five days before the Convention ended. The voting delegates sent it down in flames -- 0 - 10 against. Only through the relentless insistence of the "anti-Federalists" did that Bill get added -- finally -- in 1791.
I think things were a bit of a "cluster" after the Revolution and the new federation under the Articles. Yet the thing that we got via the Constitutional Convention? Its vulnerability to "interpretation," its centralization of power, its propensity for descent into empire, its potentiality for the destruction of individual liberty, and on and on. All warned about, all ignored -- except for the one thing. The Bill of Rights. Who the hell knows how much worse off we'd be -- if that's possible -- without it. All because of those who opposed the Constitution.
A agree with your summation. With the loss of our constitutional monetary system and with the loss of the militias the Constitution has become nothing but a paper tiger. As JB Shurk has stated…
“A regrettably large share of our legal experiences operate not in the shadow of the Constitution and its constraints, but rather in the shadow of explicitly unconstitutional rules, actions, and orders. In the time it takes for improper Executive Orders to be reined in, for illicit administrative decisions to be corrected, and for misinterpretations of constitutional power to be overturned, so much of society’s activity is framed by what we might call the not-Constitution — all those acts of government that are deemed illegal only after they have caused enduring harm. A most troubling aspect of government power is its insistence on pushing past constitutional constraints and operating in a blurry legal wilderness of its own creation while forcing Americans to prove that those power grabs lack legitimacy.”
Just look at how the presidency has turned into a dictatorship with “executive orders” bypassing the legislature and how the courts have turned into legislative bodies with their “opinions”. We the people, as a whole are up shits creek without a paddle. https://www.courageouslion.us/p/thanks-to-all-tyrants-friends-atf

Sadly, I agree. I've learned that most of us have been "programmed" and engineered into the state you talk about.
Hard to wake them up. ;(

Most people are just mediocre minded cowardly conformists because it's
comfortable and simple. I'm not one of those people.

Well written. I for one am looking for my Savior Jesus Christ to call me up. The hour is late. Look up, be watchful. Maranatha 🙏
