Vietnam was a huge cluster that we did not need to be engaged with. Same with the adjoining Far Eastern countries we interfered with at that time. Now, we bomb everyone in the Middle East for, mostly, no reason. It's no wonder they call us "The Great Satan."

When I wrote this article I watched the History Channel video and decided to include it even though Hugh wasn't mentioned. It literally made me sick. As Jimmy Dore has stated..."The United States is the biggest terrorist organization in the world." I would like to be able to legitimately disagree with him. But I can't. No HONEST person could.

"...we bomb everyone in the Middle East for, mostly, no reason..."

Clinton invented it as a way for his friends in the media to use the news cycle to distract the public from his serial abominations. He killed thousands of Serbian women and children to support the war efforts of Muslims. No wonder the Serbs hate us.

Yeah, I forgot all about that war. 😖 Everyone should hate us. I just pray that they know that it's not US that supports this crap. It's the government and the MIC that has their way with us, too.

Yes, in all of our thinking we should make a distinction between

the government and the people

the nation and the society

the state and the people

and so on

Leftists use the trick of equating two different groups in phrases such as "public ownership" by which they mean ownership by the government/state and the people in the government, and NOT ownership by the people, who are governed.

Thank God we the people are NOT responsible for the vast damage done by our unaccountable rulers.

I'm afraid that God is the only one that will give us a pass, because I'm not sure humans in the harmed countries will.

Bravo Mark. I just read about Hugh on Wikipedia of all places. He was shunned and vilified the next 30 years of military service. A real Hero. Today he would be imprisoned. Like Julian Assange or Chelsea Manning who they turned into a woman.

I will agree that Hugh is a hero. Nam was another sickening example of US taxpayers forced to feed the Military-Industrial Complex's greed on the false premise of spreading "democracy" and stopping communism. Much precious life lost on both sides.
