We do need to resurrect the true state militias and reinstate the Committees of Safety that the communities used to rely on for the security of their lives, liberty, and property.
We are the 2nd Amendment well regulate militia on Oregon. We filed all the papers and it is signed, sealed, stamped, witnessed with proof of service published at www.orsja.org I think we did that in 2021.
In the early 1900s and before, the Militias of the Several States were the de facto army. When this entity was converted into the national guard, it removed the people from power and set the centralized federal government as the ultimate dictator.
The Federal Reserve was made possible by this transition of power, as there was now no force that existed that could apply pressure and demand justice from these thieves. The coup by the Bankers was not a single event but a long train of events, not the least of which was the removal of the militias of the several states.
This is the reason today many states have legislative laws prohibiting the organization of “militias.” Sheriffs and Governors could organize forces, but the pressure that would be placed upon them would be suffocating.
In the end, it is up to the people to elect Sheriffs that can withstand this pressure, and to support those Sheriffs. Creating organizations covertly amongst hyper local populations is also an effective method, that has been proven throughout millenia. But… to effectively create organizations covertly, one must have a base to launch from. A small group of dedicated individuals who can work together on this cause with absolute trust and effectiveness. Not only this, but in our current society, it would involve working against the grain in hostile populations, where support for the government, the police, the military, and other oppressors runs very deep.
I have worked for many years in organizing people toward peaceful preparation for transitions that may come about. I have found most people to be without the heart, the mentality, the knowledge and strength to often even consider moderate actions toward protection amd preparation.
This is not to say it is not possible. It is to say proper motivation needs to exist before people are willing. Education of the facts. Leadership. Solutions.
Elect good and trustworthy hyperlocal leadership. Organize with those closest and build upon those relationships. Develop small, quality oriented base. Build upon that.

Thanks to a man named "Dick," (can't make it up), we got..."The Dick Act" of 1903. That Act began the slow dissolution of the State militias into the federally controlled cluster we have today called The National Guard.

CL, you are dead on the bullseye with this. The English of that time period called for the description to come before the subject in writing. The important part of the sentence is the right to keep and bear arms not being infringed. The first few amendments were a warning to the federal government to keep its hands off God given rights. The second part is the descriptive reason. For the "militia" to overthrow a tyrannical federal government. The militia was not the state police, National Guard or Dept. of Defense. They did not exist then. The Continental Army was made up of militia from the various states. The militia was a somewhat loosely organized bunch of local citizens coming together (voluntarily) for the mutual self-defense. I like the idea of sheriffs (if they are righteous protectors of the Constitution and Bill of Rights) swearing in, as a posse, like minded armed citizens with sufficient ability to handle their firearms
As for the Federal Reserve, it is not a body allowed for in the Constitution. The Founding Fathers would not have approved of it. It needs to be abolished. (along with the ATF, FBI and CIA which are all rogue and uncontrolled). It is time for patriotic citizens to take back control of the government, by the people, for the people.
I agree. Words are important. Some get hijacked, like “militia,” a perfectly good word that should not stir fear emotions in Americans. But the Mockingbird media control our vocabulary and frame the issues to their advantage and our disadvantage. The federal government is duping us now switching “immigrant” with “entrant.” The Department of HHS has a new division dedicated to serving illegal immigrants (calling them entrants) as a welcome wagon.

The Militia is not just men with rifles marching to fife and drum against tyranny. “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” We are already in a war. The doctrine of total war outlined in Unrestricted Warfare clearly demonstrates that the People’s Republic of China is preparing to confront the United States and our allies by conducting “asymmetrical” or multidimensional attacks on almost every aspect of our social, economic and political life. Substack is one example of The multidimensional Militia winning by simply engaging in free and open dialogue. Every time you spend your time on a worthwhile activity you gain a victory, no matter how small, a win is a win. Also, keep in mind that for every traditional soldier on the front lines there are many more behind them in support roles. Everyone can contribute to the war effort.

In "On Virginia" Thomas Jefferson states "All able-bodied Men between the ages of 18 and 54 are AUTOMICALLY ENROLLED in the Militia."
