As far right terrorists we surely deserve the same right as the criminals to carry guns. We have the same rights as the gangs to defend our territory.

It's just that our territory is our home not a corner in some shithole democrat controlled location.

My territory is wherever I go when I leave my home as well as my home. I carry ALL the time. Even in my home. People get used to it. I use a cross draw open carry so that no one can sneak up and grab my weapon from my holster and I’m ALWAYS situational aware. When we go out to eat I pick the seat that can see the entry door of the restaurant and have asked servers to move us when I can’t. I actually bring an AR10 in the back of my rig when I’m out too. There may not be a militia in my country, but I’m at least one. Anyone trying to do a mass shooting where I’m at, will loose! I will be running TOWARDS the sound of gunfire, not away from it. MOLON LABE!

Yeah, about that... see, all of you/us ARE the military. And it's beholding to us for its funding to buy those weapons, so I'll have some too, thanks!

Anti-gunners are out of touch with where their own security derives. Those fancy military weapons were largely designed by private entrepreneurs pushing the envelope.

Anyway, you know all that.

Nice Sekins Precision AR. I think they pretty much got out of the AR game?, so that might be a relic and have some nostalgic collector appeal?

“they themselves are being protected by legions of tax-payer-funded bodyguards, all of whom are carrying “weapons of war” and “high-capacity magazines,” the exact same weapons these sleazy gas-bags simultaneously insist the rest of us don’t “need.””

Just want to make sure everyone read it.

Im fine with a 10 round mag, so long as it is the minumum legal capacity and comes with a federally subsidized grenade launcher and night vision. Killdozers can have a 3 day waiting period for countermeasures certification and cannon calibration.

I 100% agree with the need to have defensive training if one is to have or carry a gun. It is important to protect oneself both physically and legally. A weapon in the hands of someone who is clueless on how to properly use it (or not use it) use it can be a disaster waiting to happen.

Courageous Lion's avatar

I just take issue with it being a requirement as the proper use of the 2nd amendment would take care of the requirement.

Expand full comment
Courageous Lion's avatar

I would say that most people are not going to pick one up to use if they have no idea about how to use it. And maybe if the first 13 words were in force and effect of the 2nd amendment more would know how to use one and when. Do you think? https://www.courageouslion.us/p/those-forgotten-and-ignored-13-words

Most of the people that are truly willing to pull the trigger AND have no training whatsoever are the people that those who carry are protecting themselves from the majority of the time.

At least up to this point in history…

If it is mandated then Only if it is tax payer funded. No one should pay out their own funds for a constitutional right.

Expand full comment
Courageous Lion's avatar

First off, no one has “constitutional rights”. The Constitution is a prohibition on those agents of government to violate our UNALIENABLE rights.

2nd, if you do some research about the founding era, the PEOPLE supplied their own weapons and would contribute to a militia fund to purchase weapons that one couldn’t obtain on their own, like a cannon.

If a younger person could not afford a weapon one would be provided by a older person that could afford to do so. That was how it was typically taken care of back then. They also would pool funds to help take care of the cost of weapons for those who couldn’t afford one. Voluntarily. No forced “taxes”.

Absolutely correct on rights. Living in a deep blue state I react to being forced to pay for layers and layers of state mandated rules around guns. At the end of it excluding gun purchases it cost in excess of 500. To initially carry. Which is the “Forced tax”
