As for the optional/impotent Second Amendment alleged right to bear arms: America was sold down the river when the 18th-century founding fraudsters replaced Biblical responsibilities (based upon the moral law of God) with Enlightenment rights, and nothing demonstrates it better than the Second Amendment.
Think about it: The Amendment WITH the wording "shall not be infringed" is the MOST infringed, licensed, and limited Amendment of the entire twenty seven. Furthermore, a future generation of our posterity is likely to see the Second Amendment whittled away entirely or repealed altogether. This is inherent nature and danger of optional Enlightenment rights versus non-optional Biblical responsibilities, such as the following:
"Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword [or today's equivalent] in their hand ... this honor have all his saints. Praise ye Yah." (Psalm 149:6-9)
"But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house [beginning with spiritual and physical protection], he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel." (1 Timothy 5:8)
Which is more potent: 1) An optional right, or 2) A non-optional responsibility?
Which is more likely to be infringed, licensed, and ultimately abolished altogether?
Which did the pre-Second Amendment Americans look to for their authority to bear arms, with little or nor infringement?
At this same location, you will also find a radio interview Larry Pratt (Executive Director of Gun Owners of America) conducted with me on this same subject. I think you'll find Mr. Pratt's remarks especially interesting. You can find this interview at https://www.bibleversusconstitution.org/tapelist.html#T952
All of this confusion, including much of what's found in this article, is cleared up when one is true to the context of Romans 13 and its inherent meaning - far removed from most of what is taught regarding these first seven verses.
There are a plethora of passages (Exodus 1, Judges 6, Acts 4 & 5, 17:6-7, etc.) that dictate Christians reject any government mandate requiring them to disobey their Lord and King. Romans 13 is not one of them. Neither is Romans 13 charging Christians to obey secular government.
Romans 13:1-7 has absolutely nothing to do with secular civil government. Rather everything therein depicts a biblical civil government, making it the commission of the subjects of the King of kings for dominion over government and society.
The one word "continually" or "devoted" (depending upon your Bible version) in Verse 6 (amplifying Verses 3 & 4) alone proves the point. And it's just one of ten contextual reasons proving the same thing.
Unless someone's prepared to claim the Roman Empire (one of the most notorious for murdering Christians) was a government that *continually* blessed Christians and terrorized/punished the wicked, they best rethink their theology regarding this extremely important passage of Scripture.
Pauline theology was turned into Constantine’s Statism . Never mind the guy that the religion is based on , good old Yeshua , you know the NON violent guy , don’t forget the rage in the temple was from the animal sacrifice and killing taking place in the name of god , the money lenders were the dudes selling you animals to kill to please a god of love ok . Yeshua was incensed with this satanic blood letting to cleanse sin , what bullshit , Christian theology is not what Yeshua was about , he was about cleanse your sins with baptism and good works not just spiritual bypassing in the belief you are saved by the blood of Christ … think thru this logical reasoning carefully.
It only stands to reason that you would adhere to good works as a Christian or at least maintain maximum effort to do so. Your response is a bit confusing to me though. Almost as if you have conflicting views of Yeshua’s reason for being here. I believe that true Christianity and those that adhere to it’s principles follow the simple understanding of DO NO HARM. Those people are typically labeled anarchists. Someone who prefers to have no RULERS over him/her and most likely believes in loving his/her creator with all their being which leads to the understanding of loving your neighbor as yourself. So many miss the boat because they literally hate themselves. It’s pretty hard to love your neighbor if you can’t stand your own self.
I was just told by a man on Facebook that he didn’t want to have any conversation in the messenger that went against his understanding. He had a lengthy conversation with me at the fellowship yesterday morning and told me basically that I should not be spending my time doing what I do to wake people up that I should be spending my time getting people to come to Jesus. I’ve heard that so often that it makes me want to barf. He doesn’t understand that TRUTH and JESUS go together. I think he got incensed over my Memorial Day post. I’ve seen more toxic narcissism in “Christians” that it becomes a plague. Oh and then he cut me off from being able to message him at all. He told me that was in love. My last comment was telling him he has a funny way of conveying love.
Why do we never ever hear about how many lives guns save?
Liberation Theology began to infiltrate Christianity and then secular ideology in the 1960s when I was a child, growing up in Rhodesia, a prosperous, peaceful Christian conservative country. Liberation Theology was rinsed and effectively repeated from 1980 for South African churches and has ‘transformed’ that once advanced, civil society, into barbarism for the last 30 years.
On reflection, I am convinced that African countries were/are ‘experiments’ for the scheduled destruction of 5 Eyes countries -which we see occurring today. In fact, it is so blatant and disturbing to the immigrant diaspora, that some of us who can, are thinking of leaving to go back to our original homes- some quietly have already.
I see Liberation Theology poison, still virulent today, being adapted and proselytised everywhere by Christians don’t even know they have been infected !
It manifests itself in the
😻 fake ‘forgiveness’ for casual murderers, or hugs for ‘freedom fighters’
😻 the ‘Jesus was a revolutionary’ in social justice/climate cult crusading and ‘humanitarian aid’ and
😻worst of all the ‘self defence is violence’ gospel.
The obsession with legal firearms is what we know in Africa to be ANIMISM: a pagan belief system where you conveniently blame an inanimate object for evil, attributing spiritual characteristics to it- thereby absolving the wrongdoer wielding it.
This is typical occult inversion, coming to a courtroom near you, where the normalisation of violator getting more legal protection than the violated, more protection than law enforcement officers - is well underway.
Liberation Theology is lawlessness. It is a Marxist vehicle, being used to subjugate the entire planet under a one world religion. New World Order religion. It’s not new, and it’s not about order.
"Rights" are fake and a creation of man's fertile mind. Responsibilities and duties commanded by God are very real. Also, Romans 13 has ZERO to do with secular government. ZERO.......
I have taught the book of Romans several times. I applaud your detail and discussion. I take issue with one fact however: we in the United States live in a representative republic. That means “We the People” carries more authority than the state does, in the end. We are where the “buck” stops. It has been only in recent elections voter fraud has compromised that authority. God is very very interested in vested authority. So if laws on the books are immoral, (e.g. abortion), it is up to “we the people” to act on it, which we have finally done. Simplified on purpose, the principle in Romans 13 as it applies to the current American church: follow the laws. (Speed limits, dont steal, vote once, etc., etc.). But if a law on the books is immoral, work to amend or remove it,(abortion, taxes, etc). The current church seems to have withdrawn from this discussion sadly. Thank you for posting it.
I would think you agree that there's only one moral standard by which everything (including the Constitution) is to be ethically evaluated: By Yahweh's unchanging morality as reflected in the Ten Commandments and their respective statutes and civil judgments. Anything else is merely fickle man's capricious humanism - that is man doing what's right in his own eyes, per Judge 21:25 - aka We the Peopleism.
When the Constitution is actually examined by the biblical standard instead of dead politicians' cherry picked quotations, it's found to be anything but biblically compatible. In fact, there's hardly an Article or Amendment that's not antithetical, if not seditious, to Yahweh's sovereignty and morality.
The constitutional framers' sins were of both commission and omission. The framers’ sins of commission are evidenced in that there’s hardly an Article or Amendment in the Constitution that’s not antithetical, if not seditious, to Yahweh’s sovereignty and morality.
Their sins of commission aside, the framers’ sins of omission—that is, their failure to establish government and society based upon Yahweh’s commandments, statutes, and judgments—alone sent America to the precipice of moral depravity and destruction she presently teeters on.
Ask the millions of infants slaughtered in their mothers’ wombs if the constitutional framers’ failure to establish government on Exodus 21:22-23 and Deuteronomy 27:25 didn’t lead to their annihilation?
There’s not one national problem in America today—criminal civil "leaders," government-financed in utero infanticide, sodomite “marriages,” and the out-of-the-closet LGBTQ movement, Synagogues, Mosques, and Temples devoted to false gods dotting America’s landscape, international entanglements, America’s crumbling economy, runaway debt, and taxes on nearly everything, etc.—that cannot be traced back to the framers’ sins of omission.
"For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water." (Jeremiah 2:13)
For evidence that the Constitution itself is biblically seditious, see free online book "Bible Law vs. the United States Constitution: The Christian Perspective," in which every Article and Amendment is examined by the Bible, at https://www.bibleversusconstitution.org/BlvcOnline/blvc-index.html.

Hi Ted...I just want to know how this would all come together and work. I've read the Old Testament and over and over and over it didn't for Israel. Here and there a "good king" was in charge but the rest of the time it was one reprobate after another. The biggest problem I see is the same one I see in "churches" today...toxic narcissism. People who want to be God without even the slightest understanding. And I've read numerous writings that you have posted or are in my library as of this moment and still can't see the solution. I've asked and I just get the same rote answers back which never answer the simple question. HOW WOULD THIS ALL COME TOGETHER AND WORK? Not a single one of your publications that I've read have an answer that makes sense. That my reason, logic, common sense and even Holy Spirit thought process can get to work.
I was in a discussion today after a service at a local Baptist fellowship with a man that goes there and everything I set before him showing how messed up the United States and the rest of the western world is, his final answer was...Mark, you're placing too much emphasis on useless efforts. We just need to get souls saved by spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom. And what is that I asked? Blank stare as if I should have already known.
You on the other hand, want to place everyone back under the old testament covenant where working on the Sabbath was a death penalty offense. Dishonoring your mother and father was a death penalty offence, using God's name in vain, which the majority of people have no idea what it actually is, is a death penalty offence. It appears to me that from your perspective the grace and mercy offered by Yahweh through Yahshua's sacrifice is of naught. That we should still be under the old covenant run by men that are somehow divinely appointed to their position and live happily ever after. And I've brought up the story of David, even as a "man after God's own heart" falling to the point of causing the death of a man who stood in the way of his wife's vagina which David wanted to covet. Oh, what tangled web we weave!
This is an antiChrist government under which we live, since inception, and provably so. Romans 13 does not apply to secular government, nor does it apply to "current American church".
We were never called to "church"; we were called to Eclessia, which is something far, far greater than a simple pew-trifying "church" full of nothing more than Churchians and Judeo(false)-Christians.
All laws contrary to Yahweh God or that are extraBiblical are not true laws at all. To Eclessia, we live our lives on Earth as we would in Heaven - where only He and He alone is Legislator, Judge, and Executioner. We are called to carry out His Commandments, not that of some bureaucratic antiChrist.
The only way to change this antiChrist system is to abolish it. The only way to abolish it is to truly repent of the crimes to which we are complicit (you are complicit in ALL their crimes, "Republican", "Democrat", or otherwise, if you vote or willingly take part in THEIR system in any way)!
Furthermore, WeThePeople is a false god (common rendition of Moloch/Molech/Osiris/Nimrod/etc) and the false idol is the US Constitution. In fact, the founding fraudsters were also antiChrists, provably so in their own writings. Thomas Jefferson himself compared Christ Yeshua (His given Name in Hebrew) to a "dunghill". If that is not antiChrist, I am unsure what would constitute such to you or any other alleged Christian or patriot!
For crystal clear proof of these things, see the works of Brother Ted R. Weiland at BibleversusConstitution.org. All of his work is provided in simple, layman's terms and all of his sources, secular and Scriptural, are easily verifiable (especially when compared to the original texts).
I pray that you take this seriously, pray on it, ask Yahweh God for guidance and wisdom, and continue a pursuit of Truth, His Truth, and not that of fickle, finite man and certainly not the largely controlled "seminaries" that are also occupied by our greatest antiChrist enemies......
You are promoting anarchy and i reject that completely. This passage not only applies to the church, we need to be acting accordingly. Your understanding of Romans 13 is very much clouded.
Please tell me which part of what I said is anarchy. I implore you to be very specific.
Which part of God's Law is anarchy?? Please be specific and show me specific examples.
Today's "churches" are not His Church (aka Ecclesia), very much demonstrably so. If you are referring to a true Yahweh-revering community, then I would agree. However, church-at-large today is NOT a Yahweh-revering community that has 47,300 fractures. If your body had that many fractures, you would be dead. Think about that.
You claim that, my "understanding of Romans 13 is very much clouded". This is said by a self-proclaimed man of God (so you said) that refused to even consider the SCRIPTURAL EVIDENCE that has been set before him. Why is it that you REFUSE to continuously seek His Truth and obviously gave nearly zero time to even consider anything that I said???
I never claimed to adhere to "anarchy". That is a strawman and very much a logical fallacy. I advocate for God's Law. Unless you want to go out on a limb and falsely and blasphemously claim that God is an anarchist, I would suggest that you address your own path of thinking and reconsider everything that some man has told you about Scripture and go and verify it yourself rather than passing it off as gospel, "pun" intended.........
I think that if we are to take it to heart the way Yahshua taught…HE was an anarchist because basically he said there is NO RULER over you except my Father and so for all intents, without people as rulers and enforcers we would have a society that is based in anarchy. Reality tells me that most people are ANARCHISTS at heart. They don’t run around robbing and raping and murdering because they are SELF GOVERNED. Which is what anarchy is. NO RULERS. There ARE rules and in a society like that the sheep dogs will take care of the robbers, rapists and murderers. The KINGDOM OF GOD is WITHIN YOU. This being based on LOVE YAHWEH WITH ALL YOUR BEING and your NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF!
You’ve touched on something important: Yeshua did teach that there is only One ultimate Ruler — His Father, Yahweh. But to call Yeshua an “anarchist” misunderstands both His mission and the nature of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Let’s break this down Biblically:
✅ What’s True in Your Statement:
Yeshua did say:
“Call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.” (Matthew 23:9)
And,
“The Kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21)
He taught self-governance under Yahweh — not because there are no laws, but because the Torah would be written on our hearts (Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8:10). That’s what true transformation looks like.
His greatest commands were:
“Love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart… and love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37–40)
These summarize the entire Law, they don’t cancel it.
❌ Where the Term “Anarchy” Misleads:
Anarchy (ἀναρχία) literally means “without rule or authority.” But the Kingdom of Yahweh is the exact opposite of lawlessness:
“Yahweh is our judge, Yahweh is our lawgiver, Yahweh is our king.” (Isaiah 33:22)
Yeshua never taught no rulers — He taught that only Yahweh is the rightful ruler, and that His Law is the true standard for humanity. That’s not anarchy — that’s divine theocracy.
📜 Scripture Condemns Lawlessness, Not Earthly Rule
Yeshua warned:
“Many will say to Me… ‘Lord, Lord’… and I will declare, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’”
— Matthew 7:22–23
The Greek word here is anomia — the same root as anarchy. It means “without law.”
Even in the early assemblies, the Apostles established elders, deacons, and shepherds (Acts 14:23; Titus 1:5; 1 Timothy 3), not to dominate, but to guide the people according to Yahweh’s Word.
🕊️ Self-Governance Under Yahweh Is Not Anarchy
Yes — in the Spirit, the righteous don’t need the sword of human government because:
“The law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient…”
— 1 Timothy 1:9
But that doesn’t mean we’re without structure or leadership. Yeshua is the King. His Word is law. His Spirit governs. His Body is ordered. His justice will be executed.
🔥 Summary:
The Kingdom of Yahweh is not man’s chaos or “anarchy” — it is order under divine authority.
The world’s governments are often corrupt, yes — but righteous rule is part of Yahweh’s design (Proverbs 29:2).
Yeshua came to reestablish Yahweh’s Kingship, not to erase all rulership.
“For Yahweh is the great God, and a great King above all gods.” (Psalm 95:3)
📖 The real question is not whether we are anarchists — but whether we are living in covenant obedience under Yahweh’s rule, with His Torah written on our hearts.
This appears to be a difference in definitions. Which doesn't surprise me. Anarchy is simply NO RULERS. And that means EARTHLY rulers in my understanding because to fill the rest of the definition as I understand it cannot be done without the RULE of DO NO HARM which is the Biblical RULE of do unto others as they would do unto you. If you DO NO HARM you are following "Love your neighbor as yourself" and you can only do so with love for your creator. They are connected.
And I'm curious...what of the law has been written on our hearts? At one time civil authorities under the "common law" would say that ignorance of the law is no excuse if someone where to claim they didn't know better after say raping. How do you justify and deal with "thou shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain" with the death penalty for doing so? And if it is written on my heart, why don't I know the answer? Same with idols? What is an idol, who will decide and who is damaged that can come before a court and claim they were damaged? I have no issue what so ever with the last six of the 10 commandments as it is obvious that there is a victim.

All of this confusion, including much of what's found in this article, is cleared up when one is true to the context of Romans 13 and its inherent meaning - far removed from most of what is taught regarding these first seven verses.
