Good points. Here's an example that comes to mind. When I taught HS in the Orlando, Fla area, the school integrated and so we got some black teachers, along with black students. One black PE teacher I was friendly with responded to me with the following when I said that I didn't believe in corporal punishment. He said that he had very clear ground rules regarding what physical punishment would be dolled out when specific things happened. So, the kids knew the rules, and if they broke one, they knew what was going to happen. The coach didn't administer our of anger, just out of justice.

Well, I could reply, " What kind of unhappy juice are you on ? " For the World's entire history there have been countless wars, which were intended to solve problems. And, history has proven that wars don't solve anything, because there's always another one. So, maybe, just maybe we could wake up and try something different for a change ? As Einstein said - Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
This utopia you describe sounds great. Human nature being what it is, it is an impossibility. Explain to me, please, how "the people being helped would not "let" their country be hostile to America (or any other "benevolent" country, for that matter) ...? Your proposal sounds very much like the recent cry for 'equity', another rainbows and unicorns idea. In reality, equity and fairness do not exist unless IMPOSED, and at that point your whole idea of universal peace is gone.
A reason why " equity and fairness " do not exist is because the "reality" we currently live in - One based on immorality is what is considered Normal. It is Normal because that's how we have chosen to live - immorally. So, of course, fairness and equality don't exist. We have put ourselves into an immorality box and so it's our Normal, our reality. And, nothing gets in that doesn't fit that scenario. That's why you limit yourself to the extreme extent you do.
In order for you to "see" your situation, you'll have to create a door in your immorality/reality box, open it and walk out.........
Sadly one of the major reasons white people are the minority in the WORLD is they spent so much of their time in the past WARRING among WHITE nations. Killing each other off while the Chinese and Indians and everyone else sat back and had a bowl of popcorn watching us slaughter one another and had lots of babies. Ever watch Braveheart? It's actually based on REALITY. Ever watch the Patriot? It's based on reality too.
Yea, a reality called an immoral one, created by people. You are just listing side effects, symptoms of such. It's a reality that can radically change, by people. Or, one can participate in the immoral reality, feed it, like feeding the bad wolf that is within each of us. Our choice.
Equity by its very nature, exists by taking from one to give to another. This is specifically immoral. Your position is that equity and fairness are moral. Upside down reasoning.
If there is any taking at all it is immoral. It must be done voluntarily with that understanding.
Equity to me means, doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I agree with the spirit of your comment Robert and the core of what you are saying is inspiring and true. I have to agree also with shethinksliberty's comment in that turning over something to so called "government" a corporate monopoly on force is just pouring gasoline on the fire. The spirit of what you said is absolutely true, but it has to be done by the private sector or in other words by individuals and associations. The so called "government" IS NOT "the people" of our nation. Sadly the majority of those people do not take personal responsibility for making things go right and are ignorant of the principles involved in what you said, and the worst and most compromised are the ones who constitute most of those who make the decisions and enforce them with force and fear not love and compassion.

Very sad but true CL. Guaranteed way to get yourself into the history books. Tends to support the principle that what you pay attention to gets you more of it. Maybe this is why the media love murderers and conquerors so much and mostly ignores feats of compassionate heroism.

We are so immersed in this Normal ( Immoral ) Reality - like fish in water. that we don't comprehend that there's even other options.
So, that's why we have sayings, such as " Money is the root of all evil / The love of money is the root of all evil". Of course, in this reality, because it represents power and is used as a fear tool.
If we lived in a moral reality, the saying would be " Money is the root of all good". Because people with extra money would help others, other people less fortunate. Because that would be the Normal when one lives in a Moral reality.....Our choice.... And, it's totally possible - in a heartbeat.
If we can create the one, we can create the other. But, first, we have to actually see what we have created and how insane it is. LOL.......Lord have mercy.

For me living morally is doing unto others as I would have them do to me. Living immorally is not doing that - doing for myself what I perceive is good for me. To heck with others. Most often done by using the tools of fear ( distancing, separation - hate, deceit, envy, manipulation, war, evil, etc... ) .
Another way to put it is to say, " Living in love and not fear. "
