The Mystery of the Seven Thunders
"The place of the Ark of the Covenant shall be unknown until God gathers his people together again... (2 Maccabees 4-10)
Many years ago when I moved to Arkansas a man I met told me about a legend that exists in the central part of Arkansas. Recently that story has come to my mind and I thought I’d share it with you…C.L.
The prophet Jeremiah said "The place of the Ark of the Covenant shall be unknown until God gathers his people together again…(2 Maccabees 4-10) (A book removed from the bible at the time of the Protestant reformation)
Roy Taylor has pieced together a very provocative theory regarding the Ark of the Covenant.
In it he postulates that the Lord guided Jeremiah and the Ark to Ireland, and examination of the old Bard myths speak of this mighty figure of God who along with the Tribe of Dan took the Ark across the great sea (to America). Taylor's fascinating theory places the Ark in Arkansas ("The Ark Carriers") inside of "Mt. Magazine" ("storehouse") in west central Arkansas south of the Ozarks.
Place names in this region appear to attest to Hebrew descendants that eventually integrated into the local Indian culture. He speculates that Jeremiah and the tribe of Dan ventured up the Mississippi from the Gulf of Mexico under Divine Providence, and then westward on the Arkansas River to west Arkansas.
It is an extremely riveting theory. In this location are Mt. Nebo, Danville, Salem (the ancient name for Jeru-salem) and Hebrew names referring to El (God), and the Blue Mountains, appearing to infer to the "blue covering" that shall always be "over" the Ark.
Personally, I think if this is true, it will be a massive earthquake on the New Madrid Fault in the upper northeast corner of the state in Missouri that will split open the Mount in the End Time scenario revealing the Ark. This fault line points in the direction to Mt. Magazine.
Taylor surmises that this location will become a refuge for Christians during a thermal nuclear attack on the U.S., and that somehow the Mount will act as a "shelter" when it splits open protecting the refugees from the nuclear fallout.
What I think is interesting is that my research on this location reveals that Mt. Magazine is aligned to Jerusalem at a 44 degree angle, being the number "8", as in the name "Yeshua" (Jesus) translating in Gematria to "888"; also the elevation of the Mount (2,753 Feet: 2,753=2+7+5+3=17=1+7="8" ) reduces to "8".
The "Mt. Magazine-Jerusalem Line" runs for "800" miles through the U.S., and through 17 nations to Israel (17=1+7="8"). This is very intriguing since before the Kosovo War the nation of Yugoslavia was intact (through which this line bisects through) and there were only 13 nations that this line ran through; after the war Yugoslavia was consequently broken up into smaller nations which produced a total of 17 nations that the line passes through to Jerusalem (17=1+7="8").
The number "8" appears to be a "Christ Code"; and the Ark (Mercy Seat) was a symbol for the coming Messiah, Jesus.
Quite intriguing.
Isn’t it interesting that the number 17 keeps coming up all over the place?
