This never was about public health. Sadly, they got away with closing the world's economy because the vast majority of humanity lost the ability to think for themselves. They knew they could get away with it, and they were right. They had tested the levels of compliance in one of the islands on the South Pacific (Tonga or some such) and knew the could do whatever they wanted to do because people didn't question them or their methods. My guess is they were laughing at us continually behind our backs.
Also, FWIW, this was done to shut down demand for money by shutting economies, all to avoid an even bigger financial disaster than we saw in 2008. That's why they locked us down, to save the uber wealthy from impending financial disaster.
If I use reason, logic, and common sense, the conclusion I come to is that Fear is an amazingly effective tool in loosening people's ability to think at all, forget reason, logic, or common sense, they're all out the window and squandered, utterly, on the flower bed, which becomes reasonable, logical and uncommonly sensible, and people run to admire their bright colors and wonderful scent right before they Die Suddenly...
