Wow....written in 1947. If she were alive right now to see the shithole that modern edjacashun has become, she wouldn't even begin to believe what has happened since then.

At the age of 64 Dorothy left us in 1957. Karl Marx must be proud of his accomplishment as he looks up from the deepest pits of hell with a big grin on his dog face.

What a great read from the 1940s. My 1960's education was similarly structured to that described, with "grammar" being learnt in French lessons and essay-writing in "English" lessons. Now in my late 60s I still regret the lack of the middle ages style education she described of Trivium and Quadrivium which would have taught me Grammar, Dialectic and Rhetoric, i.e. how to think and to argue. I can only assume education has generally deteriorated further since then.

Love this! I've said our educational system in this country needs an overhaul and this is proof. They're raising people to grow up and make other people money. As a self employed entrepreneur, I love the freedom of being my own boss and I work hard, but my money is mine. As a Christian with strong faith, who went to college in my forties, I can see how they do it, but that's because I have street smarts and common sense. The first thing necessary to start over is to give our children the ability to think for themselves, and teach them to research and question EVERYTHING!

Even when you teach them to research and question everything, you'll find that sometimes they will take the "easy" way out and let someone else do their thinking and rely on them to do the research. End result is what happened to one of my sons. He listed to the siren song of his live in cougar sex doll and has not spoken to me for 27 months, took the jab and the last time I spoke to him he had a total break down temper tantrum in my face incoherently screaming and ranting and making no sense whatsoever. I feel that I've lost one of my sons. So unless the questioning part sticks well, there is always that influence from some ignorant ass that can sway them. And ignorance is not bliss. It is DANGEROUS.

I'm the same with my oldest. Our issues is her Father's influence because I divorced him, she got vaxxed too. My faith is strong and we'll be reunited is my belief. Trust God! Also... the Vax is reversible through the Universal Antidote check out their Telegram channel!

I was totally unprepared when I graduated from high school in 1977. I struggled with math all my life. Loved English and history but couldn’t balance a checkbook.

I agree with everything in this article. I didn’t start thinking about these issues until about the time my children graduated from high school and I saw they were as unprepared for life as I had been. My grandchildren will be homeschooling their children and this is a way for one generational link to be broken. Public education is worthless because 50 years later and it’s even worse than it was when I graduated. Class of seven in 1977.

It needs to be gutted. Education is social control with no accountability. Teachers are a joke and the garbage being taught is brainwashing our kids to be activists and not to mention the sexual deviants who are teaching our babies!

Thanks for this article. Wisdom beyond your age. Mature courageous lion hear you ROAR

One thing that the public cesspool did for me was to make me realize that is NOT what I wanted for my four sons. Just the peer pressure with drugs and alcohol. I remember being lambasted because I wouldn't smoke a joint. I was a "whip" a "red neck" and other cute names that they attached to me. My attitude then is the same as it is now. They can KMA. You aren't much younger than I am Deborah. I graduated from the insane asylum I was going to in 1972. We NEED to leave a legacy of freedom for our children and grand children. I am so glad that my influence on my sons kept three from getting jabbed. The one who did has labelled me a terrible person and has not spoken to me for 27 months. He fell for the sexy siren cougar who has his mind all wrapped up in her sick way of thinking. But the other three? Totally different story. My oldest just had his second son come into the world a few days ago. And neither one of his two boys EVER WERE JABBED AT ALL WITH ANYTHING!!! Praise Our Creator! One is Joshua and the new boy is Tobias. I'm going to go hold him today...

I’m grateful that my oldest daughter and my three grandchildren and four great grandchildren with a fifth due in April have not been vaxxed either. My great grandchildren haven’t had any vaccines either. Three boys and one girl. We too are all hicks like yourself. I was a little tomboy, but I loved the freedom of the farm. I started riding at 6 and I missed it when my mom left my stepdad. He was not missed but that was another story.

My youngest daughter is a master chief and has 25 years in the navy. San Diego. Mandated vaccines for her and both my granddaughters. Unbelievable but we don’t talk about it. She’s strong willed and stubborn and it’s best we don’t. So I can totally relate.

I recommend School of Darkness by Bella Dodd. A fascinating story of the purposeful infiltration of Communism into…you guessed it…teacher’s unions! Written in the 50’s and every word rings true today.

Well since the government schools are the 10th plank of the communist manifesto, ask me if I'm surprised! Have you read: Communism- AMERICAN Style! https://www.courageouslion.us/p/communism-american-style

I am reminded of the film Bitter Harvest, the story of Stalin's tyranny in Ukraine. The man that tried to convince the villages that communism was the right path was a teacher.

Teacher wasn't the right term for in realty they were indoctrinators, or propagandists. The settlers that came here and settled the Plymouth colony tried a form of communism and the first winter many died from starvation. The governor of the colony then decided to utilize a form of capitalism which worked wonderfully for the next year. Another piece of history that is filled with BS. https://www.heritage.org/markets-and-finance/commentary/pilgrims-beat-communism-free-market

It is a well known fact that everything the government touches, quickly turns to shit.

Public education has gone rapidly down hill since the creation of the federal Dept. of Education. The college/university system is an expensive waste. Even private schools are questionable because all teachers are educated in the same fashion and the vast majority of teachers are Marxist, indoctrinated in CRT and related bullshit. Generations after the Baby Boomers (we are questionable) are a mess. They cannot think, have no common sense, no ambition, take no personal responsibility, have no historical knowledge and have no sense of patriotism. The education part of the master Marxist/globalist plan is working well. The USA is in big trouble.

I don't think they'll go out all at once, but schools will begin to go out after the real estate market is finished collapsing. Many schools are funded from property taxes. I know that there are a lot of great high schools with terrific funding. They are all going to get shaken up. Some may stand others may fall. We'll see what happens with colleges. As the dollar crashes, teachers and professors have less and less incentive to show up and do their difficult job.

Exactly! Correct you are about this country being communist… or worse. But, at the surface level, they are nice about it. Nice, hidden communism until one crosses them or defies their authoritar…. Then, watch out!!

One of my best friends from my childhood currently rots away in a mental institution for something that I do also and everyone should do. He questioned everything. If there was anything dishonest or unfair, he would call it out. He would expose anything he saw as injustice. Those in control cannot stand that and will not allow that.

My only saving grace has been, although I question everything… I am not quick to blurt it out. I usually keep quiet and just know that… I have their number.
