The Preachers of Freedom have disappeared. Had they been alive today they would have acted in the same way today's*preachers respond to the destruction of the Republic. They would have sat at a computer and written about the lack of freedom. Then they would have monetizes their fears for freedom. Then they would have worried about being demonetized.

How about we do what they did in their day...fought an oppressive government.

You might consider a follow-up about the root cause of why many pastors today are different, because I've never encountered anyone who knew. For the first couple hundred years of 'America,' 0% of pastors weren't "sold," as you say. Now it's 99.9%. You can prove this by going to any state's division of corporation website and search any church name. You'll see the 'dirty little secret' that they are all "sold out." Contrast that to Upriver Church in Idaho. It's one of only about 5 I've found that is not, after looking up hundreds (even the quaintest, smallest old rural churches. You can search how this started recently under LBJ and grew. I hear so many people pound their fist about pastors and not get it until I share this white pill. Then they see there is a literal and general "conflict of interest." Thankfully this is still not the case in many nations. Thoughts???

Thoughts? Everett Sileven had his church padlocked due to his refusal to incorporate. Yes that is a major issue because incorporation makes the "church" a "creature of the state". And legally they cannot stand at the pulpit and preach support for any particular politician or political stand. I knew Pastor Sileven personally and supported his stance. You are ABSOLUTELY correct. https://www.amazon.com/Day-They-Padlocked-Church-Christians/dp/0910311056 The man who wrote the forward was my Pastor for a few years. Pastor D. James Kennedy from Coral Ridge Presbyterian church.

Thank you Lion! I hadn't heard that story dmso I just read about it. More reason for all of us to follow the example of home church in Acts. As part of the white pill, some pastors like Kennedy have hypocritically spoken up for freedom while having this dirty little secret themselves! This is why Jesus was only harsh to the priests and lawyers. He hates what they did and what 99.9% of American priests like Kennedy do today!!!

And this is the reason I say this: Those coming to this land from elsewhere -- especially those from cultures and histories completely absent of any connection to the Western Christian tradition -- should be made to read, understand, and vow to live by the ideas and ideals of 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 -- and 𝒏𝒐𝒕 the Constitution. Uphold and defend the ideals of liberty in the Declaration. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 what it means to be American. Leave the oath-swearing to a document describing government to those joining that government.
